Walkmic is a field report app for architects and owner's reps, in development. This page explains how we make the guides, templates and other pages on this site, and what you can expect from them.
How we make a page
- Research. We start from public sources and search data: product documentation, official support pages, published standards and the questions people search for.
- Draft. An AI model writes the first draft from that research and from our notes on the product.
- Check. We check each fact in the draft against its source. A fact we cannot confirm does not go on the page.
- Approve. A person on the Walkmic team reads the whole page and approves it before we publish it.
Facts about other products
When a page states a fact about another company's product, such as a price, a feature or the end of support for an app, we link the source. We also record the date we checked it, and the page shows that date as "Facts checked on" at the top.
Products change. When we update a page, we check these facts again and change the date.
Corrections
We fix errors when we find them or when a reader tells us about them. After a correction, we change the "Updated" date at the top of the page. If a correction changes what a page recommends, we say what changed at the end of the page. To report an error, write to hello@walkmic.com.
No paid placements
No company pays to appear on these pages, and no company pays to change what we say about it. Where we name another product, we do it in plain, factual sentences with a source.
Walkmic is in development
Walkmic is not available yet. When a page describes the app, it describes what we are building, and the final app may be different. We plan a beta in early 2027, and everyone on the waitlist gets the beta invite first.
